- God is not a man, that He should lie,
Nor a son of man, that He should repent.
Has He said, and will He not do?
Or has He spoken, and will He not make it good? - So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them.
- The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God.
- Thus I will magnify Myself and sanctify Myself, and I will be known in the eyes of many nations. Then they shall know that I am the Lord.
- God is faithful, by whom you were called into the fellowship of His Son, Jesus Christ our Lord.
- The earth is the Lord’s, and all its fullness,
The world and those who dwell therein. - But, beloved, do not forget this one thing, that with the Lord one day is as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.
- Let every soul be subject to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and the authorities that exist are appointed by God.
- Adulterers and adulteresses! Do you not know that friendship with the world is enmity with God? Whoever therefore wants to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God.
- But God has revealed them to us through His Spirit. For the Spirit searches all things, yes, the deep things of God.
- Then God said, “Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.”
- I will be glad and rejoice in You;
I will sing praise to Your name, O Most High. - The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Spirit be with you all. Amen.
- He reveals deep and secret things;
He knows what is in the darkness,
And light dwells with Him. - As for the Almighty, we cannot find Him;
He is excellent in power,
In judgment and abundant justice;
He does not oppress. - For who is God, except the Lord?
And who is a rock, except our God? - But our God is in heaven;
He does whatever He pleases. - For a thousand years in Your sight
Are like yesterday when it is past,
And like a watch in the night. - “And I will sanctify My great name, which has been profaned among the nations, which you have profaned in their midst; and the nations shall know that I am the Lord,” says the Lord God, “when I am hallowed in you before their eyes.”
- He who builds His layers in the sky,
And has founded His strata in the earth;
Who calls for the waters of the sea,
And pours them out on the face of the earth—
The Lord is His name. - And I heard a loud voice from heaven saying, “Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and He will dwell with them, and they shall be His people. God Himself will be with them and be their God. And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away.”
- And suddenly a voice came from heaven, saying, “This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.”
- This is the word of the Lord to Zerubbabel:
‘Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit,’
Says the Lord of hosts. - And to love Him with all the heart, with all the understanding, with all the soul, and with all the strength, and to love one’s neighbor as oneself, is more than all the whole burnt offerings and sacrifices.
- You believe that there is one God. You do well. Even the demons believe—and tremble!
