- Be still, and know that I am God;
I will be exalted among the nations,
I will be exalted in the earth! - By this we know that we abide in Him, and He in us, because He has given us of His Spirit.
- Before the mountains were brought forth,
Or ever You had formed the earth and the world,
Even from everlasting to everlasting, You are God. - And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.
- Oh, the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable are His judgments and His ways past finding out!
- This is the message which we have heard from Him and declare to you, that God is light and in Him is no darkness at all.
- And this is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent.
- For who is God, except the Lord?
And who is a rock, except our God? - Therefore you shall keep My commandments, and perform them: I am the Lord.
- The young lions lack and suffer hunger;
But those who seek the Lord shall not lack any good thing. - As the deer pants for the water brooks,
So pants my soul for You, O God. - Now to the King eternal, immortal, invisible, to God who alone is wise, be honor and glory forever and ever. Amen.
- Jesus answered and said to them, “This is the work of God, that you believe in Him whom He sent.”
- Behold, the eye of the Lord is on those who fear Him,
On those who hope in His mercy. - And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
- You, O Lord, remain forever;
Your throne from generation to generation. - “Can anyone hide himself in secret places,
So I shall not see him?” says the Lord;
“Do I not fill heaven and earth?” says the Lord. - Now he who keeps His commandments abides in Him, and He in him. And by this we know that He abides in us, by the Spirit whom He has given us.
- Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might.
- Yet I am the Lord your God
Ever since the land of Egypt,
And you shall know no God but Me;
For there is no savior besides Me. - Beloved, if God so loved us, we also ought to love one another.
- What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?
- Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord,
The people He has chosen as His own inheritance. - Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us.
- Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one! You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your strength.
God is not a man, that He should lie,
Nor a son of man, that He should repent.
Has He said, and will He not do?
Or has He spoken, and will He not make it good?And we are His witnesses to these things, and so also is the Holy Spirit whom God has given to those who obey Him. Let your conduct be without covetousness; be content with such things as you have. For He Himself has said, “I will never leave you nor forsake you.”Next verse!With image
