- Before the mountains were brought forth,
Or ever You had formed the earth and the world,
Even from everlasting to everlasting, You are God. - But as for you, you meant evil against me; but God meant it for good, in order to bring it about as it is this day, to save many people alive.
- Who has performed and done it,
Calling the generations from the beginning?
‘I, the Lord, am the first;
And with the last I am He.’ - Be still, and know that I am God;
I will be exalted among the nations,
I will be exalted in the earth! - Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might.
- God shall bless us,
And all the ends of the earth shall fear Him. - And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
- The young lions lack and suffer hunger;
But those who seek the Lord shall not lack any good thing. - This is the message which we have heard from Him and declare to you, that God is light and in Him is no darkness at all.
- And this is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent.
- By this we know that we abide in Him, and He in us, because He has given us of His Spirit.
- Oh, the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable are His judgments and His ways past finding out!
- Behold, the eye of the Lord is on those who fear Him,
On those who hope in His mercy. - Jesus answered and said to them, “This is the work of God, that you believe in Him whom He sent.”
- Therefore you shall keep My commandments, and perform them: I am the Lord.
- As the deer pants for the water brooks,
So pants my soul for You, O God. - Now he who keeps His commandments abides in Him, and He in him. And by this we know that He abides in us, by the Spirit whom He has given us.
- You, O Lord, remain forever;
Your throne from generation to generation. - The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God.
- God is not a man, that He should lie,
Nor a son of man, that He should repent.
Has He said, and will He not do?
Or has He spoken, and will He not make it good? - What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?
- But God has revealed them to us through His Spirit. For the Spirit searches all things, yes, the deep things of God.
- “Can anyone hide himself in secret places,
So I shall not see him?” says the Lord;
“Do I not fill heaven and earth?” says the Lord. - Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us.
- Beloved, if God so loved us, we also ought to love one another.
