- I will never forget Your precepts,
For by them You have given me life. - You have become estranged from Christ, you who attempt to be justified by law; you have fallen from grace.
- The law of the Lord is perfect, converting the soul;
The testimony of the Lord is sure, making wise the simple. - The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom;
A good understanding have all those who do His commandments.
His praise endures forever. - Therefore let it be known to you, brethren, that through this Man is preached to you the forgiveness of sins; and by Him everyone who believes is justified from all things from which you could not be justified by the law of Moses.
- You shall not take the name of the Lord your God in vain, for the Lord will not hold him guiltless who takes His name in vain.
- And the second is like it: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’
- Incline my heart to Your testimonies,
And not to covetousness. - For this is the message that you heard from the beginning, that we should love one another.
- If a person sins, and commits any of these things which are forbidden to be done by the commandments of the Lord, though he does not know it, yet he is guilty and shall bear his iniquity.
- We who are Jews by nature, and not sinners of the Gentiles, knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law but by faith in Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Christ Jesus, that we might be justified by faith in Christ and not by the works of the law; for by the works of the law no flesh shall be justified.
- He who has My commandments and keeps them, it is he who loves Me. And he who loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I will love him and manifest Myself to him.
- The entirety of Your word is truth,
And every one of Your righteous judgments endures forever. - Whoever commits sin also commits lawlessness, and sin is lawlessness.
- I do not set aside the grace of God; for if righteousness comes through the law, then Christ died in vain.
- Do not think that I came to destroy the Law or the Prophets. I did not come to destroy but to fulfill.
- I will praise You with uprightness of heart,
When I learn Your righteous judgments. - I am the Lord your God: Walk in My statutes, keep My judgments, and do them; hallow My Sabbaths, and they will be a sign between Me and you, that you may know that I am the Lord your God.
- Therefore you shall keep My commandments, and perform them: I am the Lord.
- The statutes of the Lord are right, rejoicing the heart;
The commandment of the Lord is pure, enlightening the eyes. - He who keeps the commandment keeps his soul,
But he who is careless of his ways will die. - Your testimonies I have taken as a heritage forever,
For they are the rejoicing of my heart. - You shall not add to the word which I command you, nor take from it, that you may keep the commandments of the Lord your God which I command you.
- But now the righteousness of God apart from the law is revealed, being witnessed by the Law and the Prophets, even the righteousness of God, through faith in Jesus Christ, to all and on all who believe. For there is no difference.
- The way of the Lord is strength for the upright,
But destruction will come to the workers of iniquity.
