- I do not nullify the grace of God; for if justification comes through the law, then Christ died for nothing.
- Do not think that I have come to abolish the law or the prophets; I have come not to abolish but to fulfill.
- I will praise you with an upright heart,
when I learn your righteous ordinances. - I the Lord am your God; follow my statutes, and be careful to observe my ordinances, and hallow my sabbaths that they may be a sign between me and you, so that you may know that I the Lord am your God.
- Thus you shall keep my commandments and observe them: I am the Lord.
- The precepts of the Lord are right,
rejoicing the heart;
the commandment of the Lord is clear,
enlightening the eyes. - Those who keep the commandment will live;
those who are heedless of their ways will die. - Your decrees are my heritage forever;
they are the joy of my heart. - You must neither add anything to what I command you nor take away anything from it, but keep the commandments of the Lord your God with which I am charging you.
- But now, apart from law, the righteousness of God has been disclosed, and is attested by the law and the prophets, the righteousness of God through faith in Jesus Christ for all who believe. For there is no distinction.
- The way of the Lord is a stronghold for the upright,
but destruction for evildoers.
