- The hope of the righteous shall be gladness:
but the expectation of the wicked shall perish. - The Lord is slow to anger, and great in power,
and will not at all acquit the wicked:
the Lord hath his way in the whirlwind and in the storm,
and the clouds are the dust of his feet. - But thou, O Lord, art a God full of compassion,
and gracious, long suffering, and plenteous in mercy and truth.
