- The hope of the righteous shall be gladness:
but the expectation of the wicked shall perish. - The Lord is slow to anger, and great in power,
and will not at all acquit the wicked:
the Lord hath his way in the whirlwind and in the storm,
and the clouds are the dust of his feet.
But I keep under my body, and bring it into subjection: lest that by any means, when I have preached to others, I myself should be a castaway. Whose adorning let it not be that outward adorning of plaiting the hair, and of wearing of gold, or of putting on of apparel; But let it be the hidden man of the heart, in that which is not corruptible, even the ornament of a meek and quiet spirit, which is in the sight of God of great price.Next verse!With image
