- Now no chastening seems to be joyful for the present, but painful; nevertheless, afterward it yields the peaceable fruit of righteousness to those who have been trained by it.
- If it is possible, as much as depends on you, live peaceably with all men.
- Finally, brethren, farewell. Become complete. Be of good comfort, be of one mind, live in peace; and the God of love and peace will be with you.
- Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.
- “For the mountains shall depart
And the hills be removed,
But My kindness shall not depart from you,
Nor shall My covenant of peace be removed,”
Says the Lord, who has mercy on you. - Deceit is in the heart of those who devise evil,
But counselors of peace have joy. - Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
- My son, do not forget my law,
But let your heart keep my commands;
For length of days and long life
And peace they will add to you. - Do not think that I came to bring peace on earth. I did not come to bring peace but a sword.
- So Jesus said to them again, “Peace to you! As the Father has sent Me, I also send you.”
- Glory to God in the highest,
And on earth peace, goodwill toward men! - Now may the God of peace who brought up our Lord Jesus from the dead, that great Shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the everlasting covenant, make you complete in every good work to do His will, working in you what is well pleasing in His sight, through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory forever and ever. Amen.
- And the God of peace will crush Satan under your feet shortly.
The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you. Amen. - Then the churches throughout all Judea, Galilee, and Samaria had peace and were edified. And walking in the fear of the Lord and in the comfort of the Holy Spirit, they were multiplied.
- Flee also youthful lusts; but pursue righteousness, faith, love, peace with those who call on the Lord out of a pure heart.
- Stand therefore, having girded your waist with truth, having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace; above all, taking the shield of faith with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one.
