- Yahweh is good, a stronghold in the day of trouble; and he knows those who take refuge in him.

Who is a rock, besides our God? - Learn to do well.
Seek justice.
Relieve the oppressed.
Defend the fatherless.
Plead for the widow. - Yahweh redeems the soul of his servants.
None of those who take refuge in him shall be condemned. - He alone is my rock, my salvation, and my fortress.
I will never be greatly shaken. - As for God, his way is perfect.
Yahweh’s word is tested.
He is a shield to all those who take refuge in him. - That he may guard the paths of justice,
and preserve the way of his saints. - Don’t withhold your tender mercies from me, Yahweh.
Let your loving kindness and your truth continually preserve me. - They will never be hungry or thirsty any more. The sun won’t beat on them, nor any heat; for the Lamb who is in the middle of the throne shepherds them and leads them to springs of life-giving waters. And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes.
- A prudent man sees danger and takes refuge;
but the simple pass on, and suffer for it. - Therefore put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.
- If anyone destroys God’s temple, God will destroy him; for God’s temple is holy, which you are.
- Yahweh will also be a high tower for the oppressed;
a high tower in times of trouble. - He lays up sound wisdom for the upright.
He is a shield to those who walk in integrity. - Bring us not into temptation,
but deliver us from the evil one.
For yours is the Kingdom, the power, and the glory forever. Amen. - He alone is my rock and my salvation, my fortress.
I will not be shaken. - Doesn’t rejoice in unrighteousness, but rejoices with the truth; bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, and endures all things.
- For you will bless the righteous.
Yahweh, you will surround him with favor as with a shield. - Yahweh preserves the foreigners.
He upholds the fatherless and widow,
but he turns the way of the wicked upside down. - Yahweh said to Satan, “Behold, all that he has is in your power. Only on himself don’t stretch out your hand.” So Satan went out from the presence of Yahweh.
- For you will light my lamp, Yahweh.
My God will light up my darkness. - Seek Yahweh, all you humble of the land, who have kept his ordinances. Seek righteousness. Seek humility. It may be that you will be hidden in the day of Yahweh’s anger.
- For he will never be shaken.
The righteous will be remembered forever.
