- For the Lord loves justice;
he will not forsake his saints.
They are preserved forever,
but the children of the wicked shall be cut off. - God is our refuge and strength,
a very present help in trouble. - Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for he who promised is faithful.
- Even to your old age I am he,
and to gray hairs I will carry you.
I have made, and I will bear;
I will carry and will save. - And whatever you ask in prayer, you will receive, if you have faith.
- The Lord is with you while you are with him. If you seek him, he will be found by you, but if you forsake him, he will forsake you.
- Be strong and courageous. Do not fear or be in dread of them, for it is the Lord your God who goes with you. He will not leave you or forsake you.
- For the Scripture says, “Everyone who believes in him will not be put to shame.”
- Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.
- And those who know your name put their trust in you,
for you, O Lord, have not forsaken those who seek you. - O you who love the Lord, hate evil!
He preserves the lives of his saints;
he delivers them from the hand of the wicked. - For the word of the Lord is upright,
and all his work is done in faithfulness. - In all toil there is profit,
but mere talk tends only to poverty. - Therefore say to them, Thus says the Lord God: None of my words will be delayed any longer, but the word that I speak will be performed, declares the Lord God.
- “Let the one who boasts, boast in the Lord.” For it is not the one who commends himself who is approved, but the one whom the Lord commends.
- For who is God, but the Lord?
And who is a rock, except our God? - When I thought, “My foot slips,”
your steadfast love, O Lord, held me up. - “For the mountains may depart
and the hills be removed,
but my steadfast love shall not depart from you,
and my covenant of peace shall not be removed,”
says the Lord, who has compassion on you. - Let your eyes look directly forward,
and your gaze be straight before you. - Hear my prayer, O Lord;
give ear to my pleas for mercy!
In your faithfulness answer me, in your righteousness! - Remove far from me falsehood and lying;
give me neither poverty nor riches;
feed me with the food that is needful for me. - He will cover you with his pinions,
and under his wings you will find refuge;
his faithfulness is a shield and buckler. - Let your steadfast love, O Lord, be upon us,
even as we hope in you. - The grass withers, the flower fades,
but the word of our God will stand forever. - The Lord is righteous in all his ways
and kind in all his works.
