- The prospect of the righteous is joy,
but the hopes of the wicked come to nothing. - And if we are careful to obey all this law before the Lord our God, as he has commanded us, that will be our righteousness.
- He is the Rock, his works are perfect,
and all his ways are just.
A faithful God who does no wrong,
upright and just is he. - Do not turn to the right or the left;
keep your foot from evil. - “I have the right to do anything,” you say—but not everything is beneficial. “I have the right to do anything”—but not everything is constructive.

you surround them with your favor as with a shield. - If you listen carefully to the Lord your God and do what is right in his eyes, if you pay attention to his commands and keep all his decrees, I will not bring on you any of the diseases I brought on the Egyptians, for I am the Lord, who heals you.
- The Almighty is beyond our reach and exalted in power;
in his justice and great righteousness, he does not oppress. - Rejoice greatly, Daughter Zion!

See, your king comes to you,
righteous and victorious,
lowly and riding on a donkey,
on a colt, the foal of a donkey. - For the fruit of the light consists in all goodness, righteousness and truth.
- Who is wise? Let them realize these things.
Who is discerning? Let them understand.
The ways of the Lord are right;
the righteous walk in them,
but the rebellious stumble in them. - You who are trying to be justified by the law have been alienated from Christ; you have fallen away from grace.
- Flee the evil desires of youth and pursue righteousness, faith, love and peace, along with those who call on the Lord out of a pure heart.
- Seek the Lord, all you humble of the land,
you who do what he commands.
Seek righteousness, seek humility;
perhaps you will be sheltered
on the day of the Lord’s anger. - Now let the fear of the Lord be on you. Judge carefully, for with the Lord our God there is no injustice or partiality or bribery.
- When he comes, he will prove the world to be in the wrong about sin and righteousness and judgment.
