- And being made perfect, he became the source of eternal salvation to all who obey him.
- Therefore put away all filthiness and rampant wickedness and receive with meekness the implanted word, which is able to save your souls.
- For I know that through your prayers and the help of the Spirit of Jesus Christ this will turn out for my deliverance.
- For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith for faith, as it is written, “The righteous shall live by faith.”
- For the Lord is our judge;
the Lord is our lawgiver;
the Lord is our king;
he will save us. - I have blotted out your transgressions like a cloud
and your sins like mist;
return to me, for I have redeemed you. - For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worth comparing with the glory that is to be revealed to us.
- The Lord redeems the life of his servants;
none of those who take refuge in him will be condemned. - He has delivered us from the domain of darkness and transferred us to the kingdom of his beloved Son, in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins.
- For thus says the One who is high and lifted up,
who inhabits eternity, whose name is Holy:
“I dwell in the high and holy place,
and also with him who is of a contrite and lowly spirit,
to revive the spirit of the lowly,
and to revive the heart of the contrite.” - For whoever would save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for my sake and the gospel's will save it.
- Salvation belongs to the Lord;
your blessing be on your people! Selah - Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven.
- For I know that my Redeemer lives,
and at the last he will stand upon the earth. - But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for his own possession, that you may proclaim the excellencies of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light.

I will wait for the God of my salvation;
my God will hear me. - Restore us, O Lord God of hosts!
Let your face shine, that we may be saved! - How beautiful upon the mountains
are the feet of him who brings good news,
who publishes peace, who brings good news of happiness,
who publishes salvation,
who says to Zion, “Your God reigns.” - He alone is my rock and my salvation,
my fortress; I shall not be greatly shaken. - Like newborn infants, long for the pure spiritual milk, that by it you may grow up into salvation.
- And calling the crowd to him with his disciples, he said to them, “If anyone would come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross and follow me.”
- My times are in your hand;
rescue me from the hand of my enemies
and from my persecutors!
