- There is none holy like the Lord:
for there is none besides you;
there is no rock like our God. - May mercy, peace, and love be multiplied to you.
- He is the propitiation for our sins, and not for ours only but also for the sins of the whole world.
- Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.
- To this he called you through our gospel, so that you may obtain the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.
- He will render to each one according to his works.
- But as for you, teach what accords with sound doctrine.
- Preach the word; be ready in season and out of season; reprove, rebuke, and exhort, with complete patience and teaching.
- So also faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead.
- Deliver me, O Lord,
from lying lips,
from a deceitful tongue. - So flee youthful passions and pursue righteousness, faith, love, and peace, along with those who call on the Lord from a pure heart.
- Have this mind among yourselves, which is yours in Christ Jesus.
- Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a worker who has no need to be ashamed, rightly handling the word of truth.
- For who is God, but the Lord?
And who is a rock, except our God? - The Lord makes poor and makes rich;
he brings low and he exalts. - Bear one another's burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ.
- Continue steadfastly in prayer, being watchful in it with thanksgiving.
- When pride comes, then comes disgrace,
but with the humble is wisdom. - Set your minds on things that are above, not on things that are on earth.
- I say to the Lord, “You are my Lord;
I have no good apart from you.” - Let each of us please his neighbor for his good, to build him up.
- You shall keep my Sabbaths and reverence my sanctuary: I am the Lord.
- Guarding the paths of justice
and watching over the way of his saints. - Every way of a man is right in his own eyes,
but the Lord weighs the heart. - And it shall come to pass that everyone who calls upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.
