Chinese (traditional)- For I resolved to know nothing while I was with you except Jesus Christ and him crucified.
- Mercy, peace and love be yours in abundance.
- He is the atoning sacrifice for our sins, and not only for ours but also for the sins of the whole world.
- Repent, for the kingdom of heaven has come near.
- He called you to this through our gospel, that you might share in the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.
- God “will repay each person according to what they have done.”
- You, however, must teach what is appropriate to sound doctrine.
- Preach the word; be prepared in season and out of season; correct, rebuke and encourage—with great patience and careful instruction.
- Save me, Lord,
from lying lips
and from deceitful tongues. - Flee the evil desires of youth and pursue righteousness, faith, love and peace, along with those who call on the Lord out of a pure heart.
- In the same way, faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead.
- Devote yourselves to prayer, being watchful and thankful.
- The Lord sends poverty and wealth;
he humbles and he exalts. - In your relationships with one another, have the same mindset as Christ Jesus.
- Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things.
- Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a worker who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly handles the word of truth.
- For who is God besides the Lord?
And who is the Rock except our God? - When pride comes, then comes disgrace,
but with humility comes wisdom. - And everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.
- Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ.
- I say to the Lord, “You are my Lord;
apart from you I have no good thing.” - Each of us should please our neighbors for their good, to build them up.
- Observe my Sabbaths and have reverence for my sanctuary. I am the Lord.
- A person may think their own ways are right,
but the Lord weighs the heart. - For he guards the course of the just
and protects the way of his faithful ones.
For though we live in the world, we do not wage war as the world does.A fool spurns a parent’s discipline,
but whoever heeds correction shows prudence. But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law.Next verse!With image
