Chinese (traditional)- Thinkest thou that I cannot now pray to my Father, and he shall presently give me more than twelve legions of angels?
- Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.
- The rich ruleth over the poor,
and the borrower is servant to the lender. - Now I beseech you, brethren, mark them which cause divisions and offences contrary to the doctrine which ye have learned; and avoid them.
- And now, Israel, what doth the Lord thy God require of thee, but to fear the Lord thy God, to walk in all his ways, and to love him, and to serve the Lord thy God with all thy heart and with all thy soul, To keep the commandments of the Lord, and his statutes, which I command thee this day for thy good?
- Excellent speech becometh not a fool:
much less do lying lips a prince. - The memory of the just is blessed:
but the name of the wicked shall rot. - And the same John had his raiment of camel's hair, and a leathern girdle about his loins; and his meat was locusts and wild honey.
- Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Ghost.
- Now he that ministereth seed to the sower both minister bread for your food, and multiply your seed sown, and increase the fruits of your righteousness.
- Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.
- Wherefore receive ye one another, as Christ also received us to the glory of God.
- And the Lord God said, Behold, the man is become as one of us, to know good and evil: and now, lest he put forth his hand, and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live for ever: Therefore the Lord God sent him forth from the garden of Eden, to till the ground from whence he was taken.
- I will praise thee with uprightness of heart,
when I shall have learned thy righteous judgments. - And I fell unto the ground, and heard a voice saying unto me, Saul, Saul, why persecutest thou me?
- What shall we say then? Is the law sin? God forbid. Nay, I had not known sin, but by the law: for I had not known lust, except the law had said, Thou shalt not covet.
- The Lord is good,
a strong hold in the day of trouble;
and he knoweth them that trust in him. - But the end of all things is at hand: be ye therefore sober, and watch unto prayer.
- He layeth up sound wisdom for the righteous:
he is a buckler to them that walk uprightly. - In God is my salvation and my glory:
the rock of my strength, and my refuge, is in God. - Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom:
and with all thy getting get understanding. - Surely the Lord God will do nothing,
but he revealeth his secret
unto his servants the prophets. - In the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried, saying, If any man thirst, let him come unto me, and drink.
- For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.
- And every man that striveth for the mastery is temperate in all things. Now they do it to obtain a corruptible crown; but we an incorruptible.
For bodily exercise profiteth little: but godliness is profitable unto all things, having promise of the life that now is, and of that which is to come.This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success. Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you.Next verse!With image
