As for the one who is weak in faith, welcome him, but not to quarrel over opinions.Him that is weak in the faith receive ye, but not to doubtful disputations.
Say not, “Why were the former days better than these?” For it is not from wisdom that you ask this.Say not thou, What is the cause that the former days were better than these? for thou dost not enquire wisely concerning this.
I have no greater joy than to hear that my children are walking in the truth.I have no greater joy than to hear that my children walk in truth.
Call to me and I will answer you, and will tell you great and hidden things that you have not known.Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and show thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not.
The Lord is not slow to fulfill his promise as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should reach repentance. The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.
Do not toil to acquire wealth; be discerning enough to desist.Labour not to be rich: cease from thine own wisdom.
The ransom of a man's life is his wealth, but a poor man hears no threat. The ransom of a man's life are his riches: but the poor heareth not rebuke.
But as he considered these things, behold, an angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream, saying, “Joseph, son of David, do not fear to take Mary as your wife, for that which is conceived in her is from the Holy Spirit.”But while he thought on these things, behold, the angel of the Lord appeared unto him in a dream, saying, Joseph, thou son of David, fear not to take unto thee Mary thy wife: for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Ghost.
Because they exchanged the truth about God for a lie and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever! Amen. For this reason God gave them up to dishonorable passions. For their women exchanged natural relations for those that are contrary to nature; and the men likewise gave up natural relations with women and were consumed with passion for one another, men committing shameless acts with men and receiving in themselves the due penalty for their error. And since they did not see fit to acknowledge God, God gave them up to a debased mind to do what ought not to be done.Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen. For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature: And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet. And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient.
And these words that I command you today shall be on your heart. You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, and when you walk by the way, and when you lie down, and when you rise. And these words, which I command thee this day, shall be in thine heart: And thou shalt teach them diligently unto thy children, and shalt talk of them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, and when thou liest down, and when thou risest up.
For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worth comparing with the glory that is to be revealed to us.For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.
What is man that you are mindful of him, and the son of man that you care for him? What is man, that thou art mindful of him? and the son of man, that thou visitest him?
You are a hiding place for me; you preserve me from trouble; you surround me with shouts of deliverance. SelahThou art my hiding place; thou shalt preserve me from trouble; thou shalt compass me about with songs of deliverance. Selah.
So faith comes from hearing, and hearing through the word of Christ. So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.
Now John wore a garment of camel's hair and a leather belt around his waist, and his food was locusts and wild honey. And the same John had his raiment of camel's hair, and a leathern girdle about his loins; and his meat was locusts and wild honey.
For the word of the cross is folly to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God.For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God.
But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea that is driven and tossed by the wind. But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed.
And I shall walk in a wide place, for I have sought your precepts. And I will walk at liberty: for I seek thy precepts.
But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may rest upon me.And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.
So we fasted and implored our God for this, and he listened to our entreaty. So we fasted and besought our God for this: and he was intreated of us.
And I will make them and the places all around my hill a blessing, and I will send down the showers in their season; they shall be showers of blessing. And I will make them and the places round about my hill a blessing; and I will cause the shower to come down in his season; there shall be showers of blessing.
When God saw what they did, how they turned from their evil way, God relented of the disaster that he had said he would do to them, and he did not do it.And God saw their works, that they turned from their evil way; and God repented of the evil, that he had said that he would do unto them; and he did it not.
But put on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make no provision for the flesh, to gratify its desires. But put ye on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make not provision for the flesh, to fulfil the lusts thereof.
For when I kept silent, my bones wasted away through my groaning all day long. When I kept silence, my bones waxed old through my roaring all the day long.
Let not steadfast love and faithfulness forsake you; bind them around your neck; write them on the tablet of your heart. So you will find favor and good success in the sight of God and man.Let not mercy and truth forsake thee: bind them about thy neck; write them upon the table of thine heart: So shalt thou find favour and good understanding in the sight of God and man.

Therefore, as to the eating of food offered to idols, we know that “an idol has no real existence,” and that “there is no God but one.”As concerning therefore the eating of those things that are offered in sacrifice unto idols, we know that an idol is nothing in the world, and that there is none other God but one.
