- The earth is the Lord's, and the fulness thereof;
the world, and they that dwell therein. - And even to your old age I am he;
and even to hoar hairs will I carry you:
I have made, and I will bear;
even I will carry, and will deliver you. - Then shalt thou understand righteousness, and judgment,
and equity; yea, every good path. - And they stripped him, and put on him a scarlet robe. And when they had platted a crown of thorns, they put it upon his head, and a reed in his right hand: and they bowed the knee before him, and mocked him, saying, Hail, King of the Jews!
- And the Lord make you to increase and abound in love one toward another, and toward all men, even as we do toward you.
- The fear of the Lord is to hate evil:
pride, and arrogancy, and the evil way,
and the froward mouth, do I hate. - For the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness and righteousness and truth.
- And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge; and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not charity, I am nothing.
- He sent his word, and healed them,
and delivered them from their destructions. - He is despised and rejected of men;
a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief:
and we hid as it were our faces from him;
he was despised, and we esteemed him not. - For of him, and through him, and to him, are all things: to whom be glory for ever. Amen.
- And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.
- And he that taketh not his cross, and followeth after me, is not worthy of me.
- And the same John had his raiment of camel's hair, and a leathern girdle about his loins; and his meat was locusts and wild honey.
- Then had the churches rest throughout all Judaea and Galilee and Samaria, and were edified; and walking in the fear of the Lord, and in the comfort of the Holy Ghost, were multiplied.
- And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son.
- For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus.
- A prudent man foreseeth the evil, and hideth himself;
but the simple pass on, and are punished. - And he saith unto them, Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men.
- Thine, O Lord is the greatness, and the power, and the glory, and the victory, and the majesty: for all that is in the heaven and in the earth is thine; thine is the kingdom, O Lord, and thou art exalted as head above all.
- And the shepherds returned, glorifying and praising God for all the things that they had heard and seen, as it was told unto them.
- Every man also to whom God hath given riches and wealth, and hath given him power to eat thereof, and to take his portion, and to rejoice in his labour; this is the gift of God.
- For he that will love life, and see good days, let him refrain his tongue from evil, and his lips that they speak no guile: Let him eschew evil, and do good; let him seek peace, and ensue it.
- And the eyes of them both were opened, and they knew that they were naked; and they sewed fig leaves together, and made themselves aprons.
- The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel.
My times are in thy hand:
deliver me from the hand of mine enemies,
