- We also know that the law is made not for the righteous but for lawbreakers and rebels, the ungodly and sinful, the unholy and irreligious, for those who kill their fathers or mothers, for murderers, for the sexually immoral, for those practicing homosexuality, for slave traders and liars and perjurers—and for whatever else is contrary to the sound doctrine that conforms to the gospel concerning the glory of the blessed God, which he entrusted to me.
- Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a worker who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly handles the word of truth.

according to what their deeds deserve.” - Surely no one can stand in the way of their being baptized with water. They have received the Holy Spirit just as we have.
- This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us.

- Husbands, in the same way be considerate as you live with your wives, and treat them with respect as the weaker partner and as heirs with you of the gracious gift of life, so that nothing will hinder your prayers.
- We all stumble in many ways. Anyone who is never at fault in what they say is perfect, able to keep their whole body in check.
- “Who can hide in secret places so that I cannot see them?” declares the Lord.
“Do not I fill heaven and earth?” declares the Lord. - Make sure that nobody pays back wrong for wrong, but always strive to do what is good for each other and for everyone else.
- For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God—not by works, so that no one can boast.
- Anyone who does not provide for their relatives, and especially for their own household, has denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever.
When tempted, no one should say, “God is tempting me.” For God cannot be tempted by evil, nor does he tempt anyone. That is why, for Christ’s sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong.Next verse!With image
