Bible Verses about 'Any'

  • Righteousness exalts a nation,
    But sin is a disgrace to any people.
  • “Do I take any pleasure in the death of the wicked,” declares the Lord God, “rather than that he would turn from his ways and live?”
  • But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all generously and without reproach, and it will be given to him.
  • Now if a person sins and does any of the things which the Lord has commanded not to be done, though he was unaware, he is still guilty and shall bear his punishment.
  • So it shall be when he becomes guilty of one of these things, that he shall confess that in which he has sinned.
  • When a man takes a new wife, he is not to go out with the army, nor be assigned any duty; he shall be free at home for one year and shall make his wife whom he has taken happy.
  • “Therefore say to them, ‘This is what the Lord God says: “None of My words will be delayed any longer. Whatever word I speak will be performed,” ’ ” declares the Lord God.
  • Search me, God, and know my heart;
    Put me to the test and know my anxious thoughts;
    And see if there is any hurtful way in me,
    And lead me in the everlasting way.
  • The young lions do without and suffer hunger;
    But they who seek the Lord will not lack any good thing.
  • Avoiding strife is an honor for a person,
    But any fool will quarrel.
  • No one has seen God at any time; God the only Son, who is in the arms of the Father, He has explained Him.
  • There is no one holy like the Lord,
    Indeed, there is no one besides You,
    Nor is there any rock like our God.
  • Take care, brothers and sisters, that there will not be in any one of you an evil, unbelieving heart that falls away from the living God.
  • Establish my footsteps in Your word,
    And do not let any wrongdoing have power over me.
  • I did not eat any tasty food, nor did meat or wine enter my mouth, nor did I use any ointment at all until the entire three weeks were completed.
  • Keep the Sabbath day to treat it as holy, as the Lord your God commanded you. For six days you shall labor and do all your work, but the seventh day is a Sabbath of the Lord your God; you shall not do any work that day, you or your son or your daughter, or your male slave or your female slave, or your ox, your donkey, or any of your cattle, or your resident who stays with you, so that your male slave and your female slave may rest as well as you.
  • But above all, my brothers and sisters, do not swear, either by heaven or by earth or with any other oath; but your yes is to be yes, and your no, no, so that you do not fall under judgment.
  • But sexual immorality or any impurity or greed must not even be mentioned among you, as is proper among saints.
  • The Lord is not slow about His promise, as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not willing for any to perish, but for all to come to repentance.
  • Do not envy a violent person,
    And do not choose any of his ways.
    For the devious are an abomination to the Lord;
    But He is intimate with the upright.
  • For the word of God is living and active, and sharper than any two-edged sword, even penetrating as far as the division of soul and spirit, of both joints and marrow, and able to judge the thoughts and intentions of the heart.
  • You shall not oppress any widow or orphan. If you oppress him at all, and if he does cry out to Me, I will assuredly hear his cry; and My anger will be kindled, and I will kill you with the sword, and your wives shall become widows and your children fatherless.
  • They will no longer hunger nor thirst, nor will the sun beat down on them, nor any scorching heat; for the Lamb in the center of the throne will be their shepherd, and will guide them to springs of the water of life; and God will wipe every tear from their eyes.
  • I know how to get along with little, and I also know how to live in prosperity; in any and every circumstance I have learned the secret of being filled and going hungry, both of having abundance and suffering need.
  • You shall not hate your fellow countryman in your heart; you may certainly rebuke your neighbor, but you are not to incur sin because of him. You shall not take vengeance, nor hold any grudge against the sons of your people, but you shall love your neighbor as yourself; I am the Lord.

You shall not make other gods besides Me; gods of silver or gods of gold, you shall not make for yourselves.
