And the base things of the world and the things which are despised God has chosen, and the things which are not, to bring to nothing the things that are, that no flesh should glory in His presence. | God chose those in the world who were lowly and despised, those who count for nothing, to reduce to nothing those who were regarded as worthy, so that no one could boast in the presence of God. |
Do you not know that you are the temple of God and that the Spirit of God dwells in you? | Do you not realize that you are God’s temple, and that the Spirit of God dwells in you? |
