- For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith; as it is written, “The just shall live by faith.”
- Therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, put on tender mercies, kindness, humility, meekness, longsuffering.

- But as He who called you is holy, you also be holy in all your conduct, because it is written, “Be holy, for I am holy.”
- So that as sin reigned in death, even so grace might reign through righteousness to eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
- But now He has obtained a more excellent ministry, inasmuch as He is also Mediator of a better covenant, which was established on better promises.
- In the day of prosperity be joyful,
But in the day of adversity consider:
Surely God has appointed the one as well as the other,
So that man can find out nothing that will come after him. - In this manner, therefore, pray:
Our Father in heaven,
Hallowed be Your name.
Your kingdom come.
Your will be done
On earth as it is in heaven. - And the Lord commanded us to observe all these statutes, to fear the Lord our God, for our good always, that He might preserve us alive, as it is this day.
- For as by one man’s disobedience many were made sinners, so also by one Man’s obedience many will be made righteous.
- But fornication and all uncleanness or covetousness, let it not even be named among you, as is fitting for saints.
- Blessed are you when men hate you,
And when they exclude you,
And revile you, and cast out your name as evil,
For the Son of Man’s sake. - Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord,
The people He has chosen as His own inheritance. - For a thousand years in Your sight
Are like yesterday when it is past,
And like a watch in the night. - But if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin.
- But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as by the Spirit of the Lord.
- There remains therefore a rest for the people of God. For he who has entered His rest has himself also ceased from his works as God did from His.
- Or do you not know that as many of us as were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into His death?
- Commit your way to the Lord,
Trust also in Him,
And He shall bring it to pass.
He shall bring forth your righteousness as the light,
And your justice as the noonday. - Bearing with one another, and forgiving one another, if anyone has a complaint against another; even as Christ forgave you, so you also must do.
- I will greatly rejoice in the Lord,
My soul shall be joyful in my God;
For He has clothed me with the garments of salvation,
He has covered me with the robe of righteousness,
As a bridegroom decks himself with ornaments,
And as a bride adorns herself with her jewels. - For as the body is one and has many members, but all the members of that one body, being many, are one body, so also is Christ.
- So let each one give as he purposes in his heart, not grudgingly or of necessity; for God loves a cheerful giver.
- Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.
- Hear my prayer, O Lord,
And give ear to my cry;
Do not be silent at my tears;
For I am a stranger with You,
A sojourner, as all my fathers were.
