- Live as people who are free, not using your freedom as a cover-up for evil, but living as servants of God.

- Observe the Sabbath day, to keep it holy, as the Lord your God commanded you. Six days you shall labor and do all your work, but the seventh day is a Sabbath to the Lord your God. - Come now, let us reason together, says the Lord:
though your sins are like scarlet,
they shall be as white as snow;
though they are red like crimson,
they shall become like wool. - Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow due to change.
- We have sinned and done wrong and acted wickedly and rebelled, turning aside from your commandments and rules.
- Remember your mercy, O Lord, and your steadfast love,
for they have been from of old.
Remember not the sins of my youth or my transgressions;
according to your steadfast love remember me,
for the sake of your goodness, O Lord! - Repent and turn from all your transgressions, lest iniquity be your ruin.
- It shall not be so among you. But whoever would be great among you must be your servant, and whoever would be first among you must be your slave.
- Ponder the path of your feet;
then all your ways will be sure. - But the anointing that you received from him abides in you, and you have no need that anyone should teach you. But as his anointing teaches you about everything, and is true, and is no lie—just as it has taught you, abide in him.
- Salvation belongs to the Lord;
your blessing be on your people! Selah - Though an army encamp against me,
my heart shall not fear;
though war arise against me,
yet I will be confident. - Commit your work to the Lord,
and your plans will be established.
