Chinese (traditional)- The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit.
- Wait for the Lord;
be strong and take heart
and wait for the Lord. - Observe my Sabbaths and have reverence for my sanctuary. I am the Lord.
- I say to myself, “The Lord is my portion;
therefore I will wait for him.” - A person may think their own ways are right,
but the Lord weighs the heart. - I will extol the Lord at all times;
his praise will always be on my lips. - Trust in the Lord and do good;
dwell in the land and enjoy safe pasture. - The Lord gives strength to his people;
the Lord blesses his people with peace. - The Lord is compassionate and gracious,
slow to anger, abounding in love. - He who finds a wife finds what is good
and receives favor from the Lord. - Blessed are those whose ways are blameless,
who walk according to the law of the Lord. - When hard pressed, I cried to the Lord;
he brought me into a spacious place. - The Lord is near to all who call on him,
to all who call on him in truth. - For the Lord takes delight in his people;
he crowns the humble with victory. - Honor the Lord with your wealth,
with the firstfruits of all your crops. - They replied, “Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved—you and your household.”
- Wisdom’s instruction is to fear the Lord,
and humility comes before honor. - Taste and see that the Lord is good;
blessed is the one who takes refuge in him. - From the Lord comes deliverance.
May your blessing be on your people. - Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good;
his love endures forever. - For the Lord gives wisdom;
from his mouth come knowledge and understanding. - But the Lord is faithful, and he will strengthen you and protect you from the evil one.
- The eyes of the Lord are on the righteous,
and his ears are attentive to their cry. - Great is the Lord and most worthy of praise;
his greatness no one can fathom. - The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit. Amen.
To do what is right and just
is more acceptable to the Lord than sacrifice.Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ. But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.Next verse!With image
