  • Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you.
  • When a man hath taken a new wife, he shall not go out to war, neither shall he be charged with any business: but he shall be free at home one year, and shall cheer up his wife which he hath taken.

  • Learn to do well; seek judgment,
    relieve the oppressed,

  • And I will put my spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep my judgments, and do them.
  • Be not wise in thine own eyes:
    fear the Lord, and depart from evil.
    It shall be health to thy navel,
    and marrow to thy bones.
  • That as sin hath reigned unto death, even so might grace reign through righteousness unto eternal life by Jesus Christ our Lord.
  • Cause me to hear thy lovingkindness in the morning;
    for in thee do I trust:
    cause me to know the way wherein I should walk;
    for I lift up my soul unto thee.
  • Without counsel purposes are disappointed:
    but in the multitude of counsellors they are established.
  • But ye, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost, Keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life.
  • Wherefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and hope to the end for the grace that is to be brought unto you at the revelation of Jesus Christ.
  • For they got not the land in possession by their own sword,
    neither did their own arm save them:
    but thy right hand, and thine arm,
    and the light of thy countenance, because thou hadst a favour unto them.
  • And it shall be, when he shall be guilty in one of these things, that he shall confess that he hath sinned in that thing.
  • Now I Nebuchadnezzar praise and extol and honour the King of heaven, all whose works are truth, and his ways judgment: and those that walk in pride he is able to abase.
  • He that walketh uprightly,
    and worketh righteousness,
    and speaketh the truth in his heart.
    He that backbiteth not with his tongue,
    nor doeth evil to his neighbour,
    nor taketh up a reproach against his neighbour.

Death and life are in the power of the tongue:
and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof.
