- A person may think their own ways are right,
but the Lord weighs the heart. - The wise in heart accept commands,
but a chattering fool comes to ruin. - He must become greater; I must become less.
- On hearing this, Jesus said, “It is not the healthy who need a doctor, but the sick.”
- And lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from the evil one. - But you, Lord, are a shield around me,
my glory, the One who lifts my head high. - But go and learn what this means: ‘I desire mercy, not sacrifice.’ For I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners.
- There is a way that appears to be right,
but in the end it leads to death. - Anxiety weighs down the heart,

- Hope deferred makes the heart sick,
but a longing fulfilled is a tree of life. - The name of the righteous is used in blessings,
but the name of the wicked will rot. - Pride brings a person low,
but the lowly in spirit gain honor. - Wealth is worthless in the day of wrath,
but righteousness delivers from death. - Ill-gotten treasures have no lasting value,
but righteousness delivers from death. - Fear of man will prove to be a snare,
but whoever trusts in the Lord is kept safe. - The Lord detests lying lips,
but he delights in people who are trustworthy. - Many will be purified, made spotless and refined, but the wicked will continue to be wicked. None of the wicked will understand, but those who are wise will understand.
- But I tell you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you.
- The righteous person may have many troubles,
but the Lord delivers him from them all. - But thanks be to God! He gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
But whoever looks intently into the perfect law that gives freedom, and continues in it—not forgetting what they have heard, but doing it—they will be blessed in what they do.Do you think I cannot call on my Father, and he will at once put at my disposal more than twelve legions of angels? Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.Next verse! With image
