Chinese (traditional)- In peace I will both lie down and sleep,
For You alone, Lord, have me dwell in safety. - If I have the gift of prophecy and know all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have all faith so as to remove mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing.
- Because by the works of the Law none of mankind will be justified in His sight; for through the Law comes knowledge of sin.
- Therefore I say to you, every sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven people, but blasphemy against the Spirit shall not be forgiven.
- A person of too many friends comes to ruin,
But there is a friend who sticks closer than a brother. - The statement is trustworthy:
For if we died with Him, we will also live with Him. - So that I may come to you in joy by the will of God and relax in your company.
- Put on the full armor of God, so that you will be able to stand firm against the schemes of the devil.
- Now no one lights a lamp and covers it over with a container, or puts it under a bed; but he puts it on a lampstand so that those who come in may see the light.
- Who will separate us from the love of Christ? Will tribulation, or trouble, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or danger, or sword?
- You will be enriched in everything for all liberality, which through us is producing thanksgiving to God.
- And whatever you ask in My name, this I will do, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son.
- This is the confidence which we have before Him, that, if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us.
- Because in much wisdom there is much grief; and increasing knowledge results in increasing pain.
- Therefore, having these promises, beloved, let’s cleanse ourselves from all defilement of flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God.
- By this we know that we remain in Him and He in us, because He has given to us of His Spirit.
- And there is salvation in no one else; for there is no other name under heaven that has been given among mankind by which we must be saved.
- If possible, so far as it depends on you, be at peace with all people.
- House and wealth are an inheritance from fathers,
But a prudent wife is from the Lord. - Do you not know? Have you not heard?
The Everlasting God, the Lord, the Creator of the ends of the earth
Does not become weary or tired.
His understanding is unsearchable. - Beloved, if our heart does not condemn us, we have confidence before God; and whatever we ask, we receive from Him, because we keep His commandments and do the things that are pleasing in His sight.
- He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him over for us all, how will He not also with Him freely give us all things?
- The mind of a person plans his way,
But the Lord directs his steps. - Therefore, ridding yourselves of all filthiness and all that remains of wickedness, in humility receive the word implanted, which is able to save your souls.
- For who among people knows the thoughts of a person except the spirit of the person that is in him? So also the thoughts of God no one knows, except the Spirit of God.
Many plans are in a person’s heart,
But the advice of the Lord will stand. For this reason You are great, Lord God; for there is no one like You, and there is no God except You, according to all that we have heard with our ears. Trust in the Lord with all your heart
And do not lean on your own understanding.
In all your ways acknowledge Him,
And He will make your paths straight.Next verse! With image
