Bible Verses about 'Choose this day whom you will serve'
- But if serving the Lord seems undesirable to you, then choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, whether the gods your ancestors served beyond the Euphrates, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you are living. But as for me and my household, we will serve the Lord.

of whom shall I be afraid? - But the Advocate, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you.
- How much more, then, will the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself unblemished to God, cleanse our consciences from acts that lead to death, so that we may serve the living God!
- So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed.
- When the Advocate comes, whom I will send to you from the Father—the Spirit of truth who goes out from the Father—he will testify about me.

And I said, “Here am I. Send me!” - And I myself did not know him, but the one who sent me to baptize with water told me, ‘The man on whom you see the Spirit come down and remain is the one who will baptize with the Holy Spirit.’
- Never be lacking in zeal, but keep your spiritual fervor, serving the Lord.
- “Abba, Father,” he said, “everything is possible for you. Take this cup from me. Yet not what I will, but what you will.”
- Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ.
- He will not let your foot slip—
he who watches over you will not slumber. - But be very careful to keep the commandment and the law that Moses the servant of the Lord gave you: to love the Lord your God, to walk in obedience to him, to keep his commands, to hold fast to him and to serve him with all your heart and with all your soul.
- If you believe, you will receive whatever you ask for in prayer.
- Whoever claims to love God yet hates a brother or sister is a liar. For whoever does not love their brother and sister, whom they have seen, cannot love God, whom they have not seen.
- Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you.
- Keep this Book of the Law always on your lips; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful.

- And now, Israel, what does the Lord your God ask of you but to fear the Lord your God, to walk in obedience to him, to love him, to serve the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul, and to observe the Lord’s commands and decrees that I am giving you today for your own good?

let us rejoice today and be glad. - You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.
- So I say to you: Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you.
- Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters, since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving.
- But do not forget this one thing, dear friends: With the Lord a day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years are like a day.
- Jesus answered, “The work of God is this: to believe in the one he has sent.”
- Then you will understand what is right and just
and fair—every good path. - Glory to God in the highest heaven,
and on earth peace to those on whom his favor rests. - But I gave them this command: Obey me, and I will be your God and you will be my people. Walk in obedience to all I command you, that it may go well with you.
- Do not withhold good from those to whom it is due,
when it is in your power to act. - Blessed is the one whom God corrects;
so do not despise the discipline of the Almighty. - In that day you will say:
“Give praise to the Lord, proclaim his name;
make known among the nations what he has done,
and proclaim that his name is exalted.” - They replied, “Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved—you and your household.”
You need to persevere so that when you have done the will of God, you will receive what he has promised. Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved.Next verse!With image
