- And let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, to which indeed you were called in one body. And be thankful.

- God settles the solitary in a home;
he leads out the prisoners to prosperity,
but the rebellious dwell in a parched land. - For in him the whole fullness of deity dwells bodily, and you have been filled in him, who is the head of all rule and authority.
- For we all stumble in many ways. And if anyone does not stumble in what he says, he is a perfect man, able also to bridle his whole body.
- Let the lowly brother boast in his exaltation, and the rich in his humiliation, because like a flower of the grass he will pass away.
- Not that I am speaking of being in need, for I have learned in whatever situation I am to be content.
- For where two or three are gathered in my name, there am I among them.
- But if anyone has the world's goods and sees his brother in need, yet closes his heart against him, how does God's love abide in him?
- And my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus.
- Those who are in the flesh cannot please God.
- God is our refuge and strength,
a very present help in trouble. - And whatever you do, in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.
- Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.
- This also comes from the Lord of hosts;
he is wonderful in counsel
and excellent in wisdom. - Hear my prayer, O Lord;
give ear to my pleas for mercy!
In your faithfulness answer me, in your righteousness! - I have said these things to you, that in me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation. But take heart; I have overcome the world.
- Let your steadfast love, O Lord, be upon us,
even as we hope in you. - But you, beloved, building yourselves up in your most holy faith and praying in the Holy Spirit, keep yourselves in the love of God, waiting for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ that leads to eternal life.
