- This is the message we have heard from him and declare to you: God is light; in him there is no darkness at all.

‘I will not be angry forever.’ - Now, brothers and sisters, I want to remind you of the gospel I preached to you, which you received and on which you have taken your stand. By this gospel you are saved, if you hold firmly to the word I preached to you. Otherwise, you have believed in vain.

declaring your splendor all day long. - And every tongue acknowledge that Jesus Christ is Lord,
to the glory of God the Father. - If anyone acknowledges that Jesus is the Son of God, God lives in them and they in God.
- “For my thoughts are not your thoughts,
neither are your ways my ways,”
declares the Lord. - ‘Return to me,’ declares the Lord Almighty, ‘and I will return to you,’ says the Lord Almighty.
- For I take no pleasure in the death of anyone, declares the Sovereign Lord. Repent and live!

“return to me with all your heart,
with fasting and weeping and mourning.” - Whoever believes in me, as Scripture has said, rivers of living water will flow from within them.

every tongue will acknowledge God.’ - But Scripture has locked up everything under the control of sin, so that what was promised, being given through faith in Jesus Christ, might be given to those who believe.

- He declared to you his covenant, the Ten Commandments, which he commanded you to follow and then wrote them on two stone tablets.
- For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.
- Therefore no one will be declared righteous in God’s sight by the works of the law; rather, through the law we become conscious of our sin.

will rest in the shadow of the Almighty.
