- A good man out of the good treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is evil: for of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaketh.
- But I will sing of thy power;
yea, I will sing aloud of thy mercy in the morning:
for thou hast been my defence
and refuge in the day of my trouble. - As in water face answereth to face,
so the heart of man to man. - Remember, O Lord, thy tender mercies and thy lovingkindnesses;
for they have been ever of old.
Remember not the sins of my youth,
nor my transgressions:
according to thy mercy remember thou me
for thy goodness' sake, O Lord. - Keep thy heart with all diligence;
for out of it are the issues of life. - My son, attend to my words;
incline thine ear unto my sayings.
Let them not depart from thine eyes;
keep them in the midst of thine heart. - My son, forget not my law;
but let thine heart keep my commandments:
For length of days, and long life,
and peace, shall they add to thee. - For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.
- Behold, God is mine helper:
the Lord is with them that uphold my soul. - Blessed are the pure in heart:
for they shall see God. - Turn again, and tell Hezekiah the captain of my people, Thus saith the Lord, the God of David thy father, I have heard thy prayer, I have seen thy tears: behold, I will heal thee: on the third day thou shalt go up unto the house of the Lord.

that she should not have compassion on the son of her womb?
yea, they may forget,
yet will I not forget thee.
Behold, I have graven thee upon the palms of my hands;
thy walls are continually before me. - Heaviness in the heart of man maketh it stoop:
but a good word maketh it glad. - Delight thyself also in the Lord:
and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart. - And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand. My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father's hand. I and my Father are one.
- Create in me a clean heart, O God;
and renew a right spirit within me. - Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.
- If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.
- For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.
- This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh.
- The tongue of the just is as choice silver:
the heart of the wicked is little worth. - I will praise thee with uprightness of heart,
when I shall have learned thy righteous judgments. - Be of good courage, and he shall strengthen your heart,
all ye that hope in the Lord. - Wait on the Lord: be of good courage,
and he shall strengthen thine heart:
wait, I say, on the Lord. - A merry heart doeth good like a medicine:
but a broken spirit drieth the bones.
Before destruction the heart of man is haughty,
and before honour is humility.But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.
