- Guide me in your truth and instruct me,
for you are God, my Savior,
and in you I hope all the day long. - Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am meek and humble of heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.

and achieve what I sent it forth to do. - You want something that you cannot have, so you commit murder. And you covet something but cannot obtain it, so you engage in quarrels and fights. You do not have because you do not ask.
- My son, concentrate attentively on my words;
pay heed to the instructions I pass on to you.
Do not let them slip from your mind;
keep them forever in your heart. - Deceit is in the heart of those who plot evil,
but those who counsel peace have joy. - The precepts of the Lord are right,
causing the heart to rejoice.
The commands of the Lord are clear,
giving light to the eyes. - A cheerful heart is excellent medicine,
but a crushed spirit dries up the bones. - A man’s attraction is his kindness;
it is far better to be poor than to be a liar. - As long as I remained silent,
my body wasted away
as the result of my groaning throughout the day. - Take delight in the Lord,
and he will grant you what your heart desires. - Anxiety in the human heart weighs it down,
but a kind word makes it glad. - If you abide in me
and my words abide in you,
you may ask for whatever you wish,
and it will be done for you.
