Bible Verses about 'Ephesians 6:1-10'

  • And, fathers, do not provoke your children to anger, but bring them up in the discipline and instruction of the Lord.
  • Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the strength of his power.
  • Put on the whole armor of God, so that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.
  • For our struggle is not against enemies of blood and flesh, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers of this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places.
  • Therefore take up the whole armor of God, so that you may be able to withstand on that evil day, and having done everything, to stand firm.
  • Stand therefore, and fasten the belt of truth around your waist, and put on the breastplate of righteousness. As shoes for your feet put on whatever will make you ready to proclaim the gospel of peace. With all of these, take the shield of faith, with which you will be able to quench all the flaming arrows of the evil one.
  • Take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.
  • Pray in the Spirit at all times in every prayer and supplication. To that end keep alert and always persevere in supplication for all the saints.
  • Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in Christ with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places.
  • In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of his grace.
  • I pray that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give you a spirit of wisdom and revelation as you come to know him.
  • So that, with the eyes of your heart enlightened, you may know what is the hope to which he has called you, what are the riches of his glorious inheritance among the saints.
  • But God, who is rich in mercy, out of the great love with which he loved us even when we were dead through our trespasses, made us alive together with Christ —by grace you have been saved—.
  • For by grace you have been saved through faith, and this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God— not the result of works, so that no one may boast.
  • For we are what he has made us, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand to be our way of life.
  • But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far off have been brought near by the blood of Christ.
  • So then you are no longer strangers and aliens, but you are citizens with the saints and also members of the household of God, built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, with Christ Jesus himself as the cornerstone.
  • I pray that, according to the riches of his glory, he may grant that you may be strengthened in your inner being with power through his Spirit, and that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith, as you are being rooted and grounded in love.
  • Now to him who by the power at work within us is able to accomplish abundantly far more than all we can ask or imagine, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen.
  • With all humility and gentleness, with patience, bearing with one another in love.
  • Making every effort to maintain the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.
  • There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called to the one hope of your calling.
  • But speaking the truth in love, we must grow up in every way into him who is the head, into Christ.
  • Be angry but do not sin; do not let the sun go down on your anger, and do not make room for the devil.
  • Let no evil talk come out of your mouths, but only what is useful for building up, as there is need, so that your words may give grace to those who hear.

And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, with which you were marked with a seal for the day of redemption.

Stay awake and pray that you may not come into the time of trial; the spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.
