Even their women (3/4)

  • Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone.
  • Train up a child in the way he should go:
    and when he is old, he will not depart from it.
  • The righteous cry, and the Lord heareth,
    and delivereth them out of all their troubles.
    The Lord is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart;
    and saveth such as be of a contrite spirit.
  • But they that wait upon the Lord
    shall renew their strength;
    they shall mount up with wings as eagles;
    they shall run, and not be weary;
    and they shall walk, and not faint.
  • For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit.
  • They shall hunger no more, neither thirst any more; neither shall the sun light on them, nor any heat. For the Lamb which is in the midst of the throne shall feed them, and shall lead them unto living fountains of waters: and God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes.
  • He hath made every thing beautiful in his time: also he hath set the world in their heart, so that no man can find out the work that God maketh from the beginning to the end.
  • For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive.
  • And Jesus went about all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing all manner of sickness and all manner of disease among the people.
  • By the word of the Lord were the heavens made;
    and all the host of them by the breath of his mouth.
  • Even as the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many.
  • Then said Jesus to them again, Peace be unto you: as my Father hath sent me, even so send I you.
  • And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God. And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.
  • Every word of God is pure:
    he is a shield unto them that put their trust in him.
  • And if he shall neglect to hear them, tell it unto the church: but if he neglect to hear the church, let him be unto thee as an heathen man and a publican.
  • That their hearts might be comforted, being knit together in love, and unto all riches of the full assurance of understanding, to the acknowledgement of the mystery of God, and of the Father, and of Christ.
  • Before the mountains were brought forth,
    or ever thou hadst formed the earth and the world,
    even from everlasting to everlasting, thou art God.
  • We have sinned, and have committed iniquity, and have done wickedly, and have rebelled, even by departing from thy precepts and from thy judgments.
  • I, even I, am he that comforteth you:
    who art thou, that thou shouldest be afraid of a man that shall die,
    and of the son of man which shall be made as grass.
  • For in him we live, and move, and have our being; as certain also of your own poets have said, For we are also his offspring.
  • To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation.
  • My son, if thine heart be wise,
    my heart shall rejoice, even mine.
  • Therefore when thou doest thine alms, do not sound a trumpet before thee, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, that they may have glory of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward.
  • The heart is deceitful above all things,
    and desperately wicked: who can know it?
    I the Lord search the heart,
    I try the reins,
    even to give every man according to his ways,
    and according to the fruit of his doings.
  • And I will sanctify my great name, which was profaned among the heathen, which ye have profaned in the midst of them; and the heathen shall know that I am the Lord, saith the Lord God, when I shall be sanctified in you before their eyes.

Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.
