Bible Verses about 'Even their women'
- Who exchanged the truth of God for the lie, and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever. Amen. For this reason God gave them up to vile passions. For even their women exchanged the natural use for what is against nature. Likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust for one another, men with men committing what is shameful, and receiving in themselves the penalty of their error which was due. And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a debased mind, to do those things which are not fitting.
- In like manner also, that the women adorn themselves in modest apparel, with propriety and moderation, not with braided hair or gold or pearls or costly clothing, but, which is proper for women professing godliness, with good works.
- For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their lawless deeds I will remember no more.
- These all continued with one accord in prayer and supplication, with the women and Mary the mother of Jesus, and with His brothers.
- But even if you should suffer for righteousness’ sake, you are blessed. “And do not be afraid of their threats, nor be troubled.”
- So husbands ought to love their own wives as their own bodies; he who loves his wife loves himself.
- He heals the brokenhearted
And binds up their wounds. - But the angel answered and said to the women, “Do not be afraid, for I know that you seek Jesus who was crucified. He is not here; for He is risen, as He said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay.”
- Even to your old age, I am He,
And even to gray hairs I will carry you!
I have made, and I will bear;
Even I will carry, and will deliver you. - If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.
- The eyes of the Lord are on the righteous,
And His ears are open to their cry. - One who turns away his ear from hearing the law,
Even his prayer is an abomination. - Then God saw their works, that they turned from their evil way; and God relented from the disaster that He had said He would bring upon them, and He did not do it.
- Two are better than one,
Because they have a good reward for their labor. - Even a fool is counted wise when he holds his peace;
When he shuts his lips, he is considered perceptive. - Children’s children are the crown of old men,
And the glory of children is their father. - For they did not gain possession of the land by their own sword,
Nor did their own arm save them;
But it was Your right hand, Your arm, and the light of Your countenance,
Because You favored them. - Moreover, when you fast, do not be like the hypocrites, with a sad countenance. For they disfigure their faces that they may appear to men to be fasting. Assuredly, I say to you, they have their reward.
- And if you do good to those who do good to you, what credit is that to you? For even sinners do the same.
- He sent His word and healed them,
And delivered them from their destructions. - You believe that there is one God. You do well. Even the demons believe—and tremble!
- Behold, He is coming with clouds, and every eye will see Him, even they who pierced Him. And all the tribes of the earth will mourn because of Him. Even so, Amen.
- For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you.
- When they had pasture, they were filled;
They were filled and their heart was exalted;
Therefore they forgot Me. - And she will bring forth a Son, and you shall call His name Jesus, for He will save His people from their sins.
- Now when He had spoken these things, while they watched, He was taken up, and a cloud received Him out of their sight.
- And those who know Your name will put their trust in You;
For You, Lord, have not forsaken those who seek You. - For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life a ransom for many.
- And when you pray, do not use vain repetitions as the heathen do. For they think that they will be heard for their many words.
- Then, having fasted and prayed, and laid hands on them, they sent them away.
- But fornication and all uncleanness or covetousness, let it not even be named among you, as is fitting for saints.
- And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather expose them. For it is shameful even to speak of those things which are done by them in secret.
- But if you do not forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.
- For the eyes of the Lord are on the righteous,
And His ears are open to their prayers;
But the face of the Lord is against those who do evil. - When goods increase,
They increase who eat them;
So what profit have the owners
Except to see them with their eyes? - Every word of God is pure;
He is a shield to those who put their trust in Him. - Oh, that they had such a heart in them that they would fear Me and always keep all My commandments, that it might be well with them and with their children forever!
- For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit, the things of the Spirit.
- Pure and undefiled religion before God and the Father is this: to visit orphans and widows in their trouble, and to keep oneself unspotted from the world.
- For there is not a word on my tongue,
But behold, O Lord, You know it altogether. - “And I will sanctify My great name, which has been profaned among the nations, which you have profaned in their midst; and the nations shall know that I am the Lord,” says the Lord God, “when I am hallowed in you before their eyes.”
- If you walk in My statutes and keep My commandments, and perform them,
then I will give you rain in its season, the land shall yield its produce, and the trees of the field shall yield their fruit. - How they told you that there would be mockers in the last time who would walk according to their own ungodly lusts. These are sensual persons, who cause divisions, not having the Spirit.
- “Now, therefore,” says the Lord,
“Turn to Me with all your heart,
With fasting, with weeping, and with mourning.” - The righteous cry out, and the Lord hears,
And delivers them out of all their troubles.
The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart,
And saves such as have a contrite spirit. - But those who wait on the Lord
Shall renew their strength;
They shall mount up with wings like eagles,
They shall run and not be weary,
They shall walk and not faint. - He has made everything beautiful in its time. Also He has put eternity in their hearts, except that no one can find out the work that God does from beginning to end.
- So continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, they ate their food with gladness and simplicity of heart, praising God and having favor with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily those who were being saved.
- And Jesus went about all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing all kinds of sickness and all kinds of disease among the people.
- For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so God will bring with Him those who sleep in Jesus.
