- Likewise, I want women to adorn themselves with proper clothing, modestly and discreetly, not with braided hair and gold or pearls or expensive apparel, but rather by means of good works, as is proper for women making a claim to godliness.

And just as they did not see fit to acknowledge God, God gave them up to a depraved mind, to do those things that are not proper. - For I will be merciful toward their wrongdoings,
And their sins I will no longer remember. - But even if you should suffer for the sake of righteousness, you are blessed. And do not fear their intimidation, and do not be in dread.
- So husbands also ought to love their own wives as their own bodies. He who loves his own wife loves himself.
- And the angel said to the women, “Do not be afraid; for I know that you are looking for Jesus who has been crucified. He is not here, for He has risen, just as He said. Come, see the place where He was lying.”
- He heals the brokenhearted
And binds up their wounds. - Even to your old age I will be the same,
And even to your graying years I will carry you!
I have done it, and I will bear you;
And I will carry you and I will save you. - And My people who are called by My name humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.
- One who turns his ear away from listening to the Law,
Even his prayer is an abomination. - Even a fool, when he keeps silent, is considered wise;
When he closes his lips, he is considered prudent. - And if you do good to those who do good to you, what credit is that to you? For even sinners do the same.
- The eyes of the Lord are toward the righteous,

Behold, Lord, You know it all. - Then, when they had fasted, prayed, and laid their hands on them, they sent them away.

- “Yet even now,” declares the Lord,
“Return to Me with all your heart,
And with fasting, weeping, and mourning.” - For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life as a ransom for many.
- By faith even Sarah herself received ability to conceive, even beyond the proper time of life, since she considered Him faithful who had promised.
- She will give birth to a Son; and you shall name Him Jesus, for He will save His people from their sins.

- For the eyes of the Lord are toward the righteous,
And His ears attend to their prayer,
But the face of the Lord is against evildoers. - For in Him we live and move and exist, as even some of your own poets have said, ‘For we also are His descendants.’
- If only they had such a heart in them, to fear Me and keep all My commandments always, so that it would go well with them and with their sons forever!
- But the tax collector, standing some distance away, was even unwilling to raise his eyes toward heaven, but was beating his chest, saying, ‘God, be merciful to me, the sinner!’
- By the word of the Lord the heavens were made,
And by the breath of His mouth all their lights. - For those who are in accord with the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who are in accord with the Spirit, the things of the Spirit.
- When good things increase, those who consume them increase. So what is the advantage to their owners except to look at them?
- Pure and undefiled religion in the sight of our God and Father is this: to visit orphans and widows in their distress, and to keep oneself unstained by the world.
- Day by day continuing with one mind in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, they were taking their meals together with gladness and sincerity of heart, praising God and having favor with all the people. And the Lord was adding to their number day by day those who were being saved.
