Chinese (traditional)- The grace of the Lord Jesus be with all. Amen.
- I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.
- I have made a covenant with my eyes;
how then could I gaze at a virgin? - And to love him with all the heart and with all the understanding and with all the strength, and to love one's neighbor as oneself, is much more than all whole burnt offerings and sacrifices.
- Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers. For what partnership has righteousness with lawlessness? Or what fellowship has light with darkness?
- With the merciful you show yourself merciful;
with the blameless man you show yourself blameless. - Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, teaching and admonishing one another in all wisdom, singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, with thankfulness in your hearts to God.
- The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit.
- Hear my prayer, O Lord;
give ear to my pleas for mercy!
In your faithfulness answer me, in your righteousness! - The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit.
- And calling the crowd to him with his disciples, he said to them, “If anyone would come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross and follow me.”
- But Jesus looked at them and said, “With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”
- Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.
- The Lord is with you while you are with him. If you seek him, he will be found by you, but if you forsake him, he will forsake you.
- For the Lord himself will descend from heaven with a cry of command, with the voice of an archangel, and with the sound of the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive, who are left, will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air, and so we will always be with the Lord.
- But godliness with contentment is great gain.
- You shall not make gods of silver to be with me, nor shall you make for yourselves gods of gold.
- Do you think that I cannot appeal to my Father, and he will at once send me more than twelve legions of angels?
- For nothing will be impossible with God.
- He who loves money will not be satisfied with money, nor he who loves wealth with his income; this also is vanity.
- For this very reason, make every effort to supplement your faith with virtue, and virtue with knowledge, and knowledge with self-control, and self-control with steadfastness, and steadfastness with godliness, and godliness with brotherly affection, and brotherly affection with love.
- But I will sing of your strength;
I will sing aloud of your steadfast love in the morning.
For you have been to me a fortress
and a refuge in the day of my distress. - And behold, a voice from heaven said, “This is my beloved Son, with whom I am well pleased.”
- If possible, so far as it depends on you, live peaceably with all.
- Create in me a clean heart, O God,
and renew a right spirit within me.
As in water face reflects face,
so the heart of man reflects the man. Do nothing from selfish ambition or conceit, but in humility count others more significant than yourselves.Next verse!With image
