- Why do you see the speck that is in your brother’s eye, but don’t consider the beam that is in your own eye?

A father of the fatherless, and a defender of the widows,
is God in his holy habitation. - For in it is revealed God’s righteousness from faith to faith. As it is written, “But the righteous shall live by faith.”
- For our light affliction, which is for the moment, works for us more and more exceedingly an eternal weight of glory.
- How much more will the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without defect to God, cleanse your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?
- Jesus, looking at them, said, “With men it is impossible, but not with God, for all things are possible with God.”

Deliver me in your righteousness. - Why do you set your eyes on that which is not?
For it certainly sprouts wings like an eagle and flies in the sky. - Being confident of this very thing, that he who began a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ.
- Let’s consider how to provoke one another to love and good works, not forsaking our own assembling together, as the custom of some is, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching.

even so you don’t know the work of God who does all. - When Jesus therefore had received the vinegar, he said, “It is finished!” Then he bowed his head and gave up his spirit.
- Of how much more value then is a man than a sheep! Therefore it is lawful to do good on the Sabbath day.

In your faithfulness and righteousness, relieve me. - That if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.
- As for you, the anointing which you received from him remains in you, and you don’t need for anyone to teach you. But as his anointing teaches you concerning all things, and is true, and is no lie, and even as it taught you, you will remain in him.
- For a day in your courts is better than a thousand.
I would rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God,
than to dwell in the tents of wickedness. - Nevertheless in your manifold mercies you didn’t make a full end of them, nor forsake them; for you are a gracious and merciful God.
- Oh how great is your goodness,
which you have laid up for those who fear you,
which you have worked for those who take refuge in you,
before the sons of men!
