- Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.
- For whoever finds me finds life
and obtains favor from the Lord. - Above all, maintain constant love for one another, for love covers a multitude of sins.
- But as for you, teach what is consistent with sound doctrine.
- You call me Teacher and Lord—and you are right, for that is what I am.

- For who is God except the Lord?
And who is a rock besides our God? - I will never forget your precepts,
for by them you have given me life. - And whoever does not provide for relatives, and especially for family members, has denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever.
- For what will it profit them if they gain the whole world but forfeit their life? Or what will they give in return for their life?
- For every house is built by someone, but the builder of all things is God.
- For the word of the Lord is upright,
and all his work is done in faithfulness. - For all who are led by the Spirit of God are children of God.
- But the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid; for see—I am bringing you good news of great joy for all the people.”
- He replied, “What is impossible for mortals is possible for God.”
- I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep.
- For so the Lord has commanded us, saying,
‘I have set you to be a light for the Gentiles,
so that you may bring salvation to the ends of the earth.’ - Do not fear, for I am with you,
do not be afraid, for I am your God;
I will strengthen you, I will help you,
I will uphold you with my victorious right hand. - Because you are precious in my sight,
and honored, and I love you,
I give people in return for you,
nations in exchange for your life. - Therefore I am content with weaknesses, insults, hardships, persecutions, and calamities for the sake of Christ; for whenever I am weak, then I am strong.
- If you abide in me, and my words abide in you, ask for whatever you wish, and it will be done for you.
- The Lord is a stronghold for the oppressed,
a stronghold in times of trouble. - For you, O God, have tested us;
you have tried us as silver is tried. - For the fruit of the light is found in all that is good and right and true.
- For just as the sufferings of Christ are abundant for us, so also our consolation is abundant through Christ.
