- Guide me in your truth and teach me,
for you are God my Savior,
and my hope is in you all day long. - For who is God besides the Lord?
And who is the Rock except our God? - I will never forget your precepts,
for by them you have preserved my life. - For the word of the Lord is right and true;
he is faithful in all he does. - What good will it be for someone to gain the whole world, yet forfeit their soul? Or what can anyone give in exchange for their soul?
- For every house is built by someone, but God is the builder of everything.
- For this is what the Lord has commanded us:
“I have made you a light for the Gentiles,
that you may bring salvation to the ends of the earth.” - And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.
- I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep.
- Anyone who does not provide for their relatives, and especially for their own household, has denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever.
- But be sure to fear the Lord and serve him faithfully with all your heart; consider what great things he has done for you.
- So do not fear, for I am with you;
do not be dismayed, for I am your God.
I will strengthen you and help you;
I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. - The Lord is a refuge for the oppressed,
a stronghold in times of trouble. - That is why, for Christ’s sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong.
- For those who are led by the Spirit of God are the children of God.
- Arise, shine, for your light has come,
and the glory of the Lord rises upon you. - I am the Lord, the God of all mankind. Is anything too hard for me?
- For the fruit of the light consists in all goodness, righteousness and truth.
- Above all else, guard your heart,
for everything you do flows from it. - I spread out my hands to you;
I thirst for you like a parched land. - Since you are precious and honored in my sight,
and because I love you,
I will give people in exchange for you,
nations in exchange for your life. - For where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them.
- Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends.
- The Lord God said, “It is not good for the man to be alone. I will make a helper suitable for him.”
- Yet the Lord longs to be gracious to you;
therefore he will rise up to show you compassion.
For the Lord is a God of justice.
Blessed are all who wait for him!
Jesus called out with a loud voice, “Father, into your hands I commit my spirit.” When he had said this, he breathed his last. So in Christ Jesus you are all children of God through faith, for all of you who were baptized into Christ have clothed yourselves with Christ.Next verse!With image
