- So there is a special rest still waiting for the people of God. For all who have entered into God’s rest have rested from their labors, just as God did after creating the world.
- I never shrank back from telling you what you needed to hear, either publicly or in your homes.
- Repent, and turn from your sins. Don’t let them destroy you!
- This is the message you have heard from the beginning: We should love one another.
- I’m not asking you to take them out of the world, but to keep them safe from the evil one.
- So refuse to worry, and keep your body healthy. But remember that youth, with a whole life before you, is meaningless.
- The Spirit of God, who raised Jesus from the dead, lives in you. And just as God raised Christ Jesus from the dead, he will give life to your mortal bodies by this same Spirit living within you.

- But the Lord turns his face against those who do evil;
he will erase their memory from the earth. - So you must remain faithful to what you have been taught from the beginning. If you do, you will remain in fellowship with the Son and with the Father.
- From then on Jesus began to preach, “Repent of your sins and turn to God, for the Kingdom of Heaven is near.”
- But the Lord is faithful; he will strengthen you and guard you from the evil one.
- Then if my people who are called by my name will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sins and restore their land.
- The Lord keeps you from all harm
and watches over your life.
The Lord keeps watch over you as you come and go,
both now and forever. - I said to the Lord, “You are my Master!
Every good thing I have comes from you.” - But Lord, you remain the same forever!
Your throne continues from generation to generation. - If you had really known me, you would know who my Father is. From now on, you do know him and have seen him!
- You know what I long for, Lord;
you hear my every sigh. - Yes, I came from the Father into the world, and now I will leave the world and return to the Father.
- For you are my hiding place;
you protect me from trouble.
You surround me with songs of victory. - The man who finds a wife finds a treasure,
and he receives favor from the Lord.
