- If anyone destroys God's temple, God will destroy him. For God's temple is holy, and you are that temple.
- Anyone who does not love does not know God, because God is love.
- As a deer pants for flowing streams,
so pants my soul for you, O God. - For God alone, O my soul, wait in silence,
for my hope is from him. - And hope does not put us to shame, because God's love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who has been given to us.

where there is no water. - Who saved us and called us to a holy calling, not because of our works but because of his own purpose and grace, which he gave us in Christ Jesus before the ages began.
- Blessed are the peacemakers,
for they shall be called sons of God. - You will be enriched in every way to be generous in every way, which through us will produce thanksgiving to God.
- So we fasted and implored our God for this, and he listened to our entreaty.
