- For the grace of God has appeared, bringing salvation for all people, training us to renounce ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self-controlled, upright, and godly lives in the present age.
- And forgive us our debts,
as we also have forgiven our debtors. - And the Lord God made for Adam and for his wife garments of skins and clothed them.
- If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
- Therefore welcome one another as Christ has welcomed you, for the glory of God.
- Let no one say when he is tempted, “I am being tempted by God,” for God cannot be tempted with evil, and he himself tempts no one.
- As for the rich in this present age, charge them not to be haughty, nor to set their hopes on the uncertainty of riches, but on God, who richly provides us with everything to enjoy.
- Therefore, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us also lay aside every weight, and sin which clings so closely, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us.
- For God alone my soul waits in silence;
from him comes my salvation. - For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them.
- For every house is built by someone, but the builder of all things is God.
- For it is you who light my lamp;

Hope in God; for I shall again praise him,
my salvation and my God. - For the love of Christ controls us, because we have concluded this: that one has died for all, therefore all have died; and he died for all, that those who live might no longer live for themselves but for him who for their sake died and was raised.
- Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in Christ with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places.
- And we know that the Son of God has come and has given us understanding, so that we may know him who is true; and we are in him who is true, in his Son Jesus Christ. He is the true God and eternal life.
- For so the Lord has commanded us, saying,
‘I have made you a light for the Gentiles,
that you may bring salvation to the ends of the earth.’ - And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose.
- Lead me in your truth and teach me,
for you are the God of my salvation;
for you I wait all the day long. - Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our affliction, so that we may be able to comfort those who are in any affliction, with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God.
- I do not nullify the grace of God, for if righteousness were through the law, then Christ died for no purpose.
- Let us test and examine our ways,
and return to the Lord!
