See what kind of love the Father has given to us, that we should be called children of God; and so we are. The reason why the world does not know us is that it did not know him.See what love the Father has bestowed on us, enabling us to be called the children of God, and that is what we are. If the world does not recognize us, that is because it did not know him.
His divine power has granted to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of him who called us to his own glory and excellence.His divine power has bestowed on us everything that is necessary for life and for devotion through our knowledge of him who called us by his own glory and virtue.
For God gave us a spirit not of fear but of power and love and self-control.For God did not give us a spirit of timidity but rather a spirit of power and of love and of wisdom.

Therefore welcome one another as Christ has welcomed you, for the glory of God.Therefore, accept one another for the glory of God, just as Christ has accepted you.
And it will be righteousness for us, if we are careful to do all this commandment before the Lord our God, as he has commanded us.If we are diligent in observing all of these commandments before the Lord, our God, as he commanded of us, then this will be our righteousness.
Therefore God has highly exalted him and bestowed on him the name that is above every name, so that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth.Because of this, God greatly exalted him and bestowed on him the name that is above all other names, so that at the name of Jesus every knee should bend of those in heaven and on earth and under the earth.
All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work.All Scripture is inspired by God and is useful for teaching, for refutation, for correction, and for training in uprightness, so that the man of God may be proficient and equipped for good work of every kind.

For as in Adam all die, so also in Christ shall all be made alive.Just as in Adam all die, so all will be brought to life in Christ.

Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.I have given you a command. Be strong and brave, do not be afraid nor dismayed. I, the Lord, your God, will be with you wherever you go.
