Bible Verses about 'Giveth'
- The explanation of your words gives light
and imparts understanding to the simple. - I am the good shepherd.
The good shepherd
lays down his life for the sheep. - All day long the godless man continues to covet,
whereas the righteous man gives unsparingly. - He gives strength to the weary
and new vigor to those who are powerless. - But thanks be to God who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
- For the Lord himself is the one who bestows wisdom;
from his mouth come forth knowledge and understanding. - The wicked man borrows but neglects to repay,
whereas the righteous man is generous in giving. - Honor your father and your mother so that your days may be lengthened in the land that the Lord your God, will give you.
- If someone among you lacks wisdom, he should ask God, who gives to all generously and without finding fault, and it will be given to him.
- Peace I leave with you,
my peace I give to you.
Not as the world gives
do I give it to you.

be not afraid. - Instruct those who are rich in this world’s goods that they should not be proud, nor should they trust in the uncertainty of riches but rather in God who richly provides us with everything we need for our enjoyment.
- This is the conclusion I have reached: it is fitting for a man to eat and drink and find satisfaction in the results of his labors under the sun during the brief span of life that God has allotted him.
- You shall obey his statutes and the commandments that I give you today, so that all may go well with you and your children after you, and that you may live long in the land that the Lord, your God, has given you for all time.
- Nor would someone light a lamp and then put it under a basket; rather, it is placed upon a lampstand so that it may afford light to all in the house. In the same way, your light must shine so that it can be seen by others; this will enable them to observe your good works and give praise to your Father in heaven.
- Give us this day our daily bread.
- A gift opens doors for the giver
and wins him access to the powerful. - A fool gives free rein to his anger,
but a wise man bides his time and calms it. - A wise son brings joy to his father,
but a foolish son gives grief to his mother. - Nothing gives me greater joy than to hear that my children are walking in the truth.

his mercy endures forever. - Fear not, little flock, for your Father has chosen to give you the kingdom.

and grant you success in all your plans. - If you, then, despite your evil nature, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will the heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him!

proclaim his deeds among the peoples. - Therefore, you will be given this sign
by the Lord himself:
The virgin will be with child,
and she will give birth to a son,
and she will name him Immanuel. - But whoever drinks the water that I will give him
will never be thirsty.
The water that I will give him
will become a spring of water within him
welling up to eternal life. - He gives a home to those who are forsaken
and leads out prisoners amid chants of exultation,
while rebels are forced to live in an arid land. - And I will ask the Father,
and he will give you another Advocate
to be with you forever. - Never will I forget your commands,
for through them you have given me life. - I will give thanks to you among the peoples, O Lord;
I will sing your praises among the nations. - Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over, will be poured into your lap. The measure that you use for others will be used to measure you.

love one another.

a son has been given to us.

Eternal Father, Prince of Peace. - May the Lord of peace himself give you peace at all times and in every way. The Lord be with all of you.
- For it is written,
“As I live, says the Lord,
every knee shall bow before me,
and every tongue shall give praise to God.” - Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and the door will be opened to you.
- I give them eternal life,
and they will never perish.
No one will ever snatch them from my hand.
My Father who has given them to me
is greater than all,
and no one can snatch them
out of the Father’s hand.
