- Act as free people, and do not use your freedom as a covering for evil, but use it as bond-servants of God.
- Be diligent to present yourself approved to God as a worker who does not need to be ashamed, accurately handling the word of truth.
- I will sing to the Lord as long as I live;
I will sing praise to my God while I have my being. - As the deer pants for the water brooks,
So my soul pants for You, God. - But as for me, I will be on the watch for the Lord;
I will wait for the God of my salvation.
My God will hear me. - For You have put us to the test, God;
You have refined us as silver is refined. - For all who are being led by the Spirit of God, these are sons and daughters of God.
- Therefore, accept one another, just as Christ also accepted us, for the glory of God.
- My soul thirsts for God, for the living God;
When shall I come and appear before God? - Whoever confesses that Jesus is the Son of God, God remains in him, and he in God.

Jealousy is as severe as Sheol;

As much as in all riches. - But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name.

- As sorrowful yet always rejoicing, as poor yet making many rich, as having nothing and yet possessing all things.

And who is a rock, except our God? - One who conceals an offense seeks love,
But one who repeats a matter separates close friends. - Beloved, let’s love one another; for love is from God, and everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God.
- So you are to know in your heart that the Lord your God was disciplining you just as a man disciplines his son.
- Be merciful, just as your Father is merciful.
- And the shepherds went back, glorifying and praising God for all that they had heard and seen, just as had been told them.
- In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
- “Come now, and let us debate your case,”
Says the Lord,
“Though your sins are as scarlet,
They shall become as white as snow;
Though they are red like crimson,
They shall be like wool.” - May my teaching drip as the rain,
My speech trickle as the dew,
As droplets on the fresh grass,
And as the showers on the vegetation. - If possible, so far as it depends on you, be at peace with all people.
- As for you, you meant evil against me, but God meant it for good in order to bring about this present result, to keep many people alive.
- As for God, His way is blameless;
The word of the Lord is refined;
He is a shield to all who take refuge in Him. - Beloved, now we are children of God, and it has not appeared as yet what we will be. We know that when He appears, we will be like Him, because we will see Him just as He is. And everyone who has this hope set on Him purifies himself, just as He is pure.
- And it will be righteousness for us if we are careful to follow all this commandment before the Lord our God, just as He commanded us.
- For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith; as it is written: “But the righteous one will live by faith.”
