Chinese (traditional)- Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the Lord thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest.
- If any man defile the temple of God, him shall God destroy; for the temple of God is holy, which temple ye are.
- In God is my salvation and my glory:
the rock of my strength, and my refuge, is in God. - The Lord God is my strength,
and he will make my feet like hinds' feet,
and he will make me to walk upon mine high places. - For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.
- Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble.
- And heal the sick that are therein, and say unto them, The kingdom of God is come nigh unto you.
- For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith.
- There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.
- And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you.
- Honour thy father and thy mother: that thy days may be long upon the land which the Lord thy God giveth thee.
- The Lord thy God in the midst of thee is mighty;
he will save,
he will rejoice over thee with joy;
he will rest in his love,
he will joy over thee with singing. - The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me;
because the Lord hath anointed me
to preach good tidings unto the meek;
he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted,
to proclaim liberty to the captives,
and the opening of the prison to them that are bound. - The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit:
a broken and a contrite heart,
O God, thou wilt not despise. - For who is God save the Lord?
or who is a rock save our God? - Know therefore that the Lord thy God, he is God, the faithful God, which keepeth covenant and mercy with them that love him and keep his commandments to a thousand generations.
- Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God is one Lord: And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might.
- For who is God, save the Lord?
and who is a rock, save our God? - Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God: for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempteth he any man.
- Who art thou that judgest another man's servant? to his own master he standeth or falleth. Yea, he shall be holden up: for God is able to make him stand.
- And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us.
- Blessed be the Lord, who daily loadeth us with benefits,
even the God of our salvation. Selah. - For with God nothing shall be impossible.
- Then Peter opened his mouth, and said, Of a truth I perceive that God is no respecter of persons: But in every nation he that feareth him, and worketh righteousness, is accepted with him.
- Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.
Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man.Lord, all my desire is before thee;
and my groaning is not hid from thee. Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.Next verse!With image
