- I am the good shepherd; the good shepherd lays down His life for the sheep.

Who announces peace
And brings good news of happiness,
Who announces salvation,
And says to Zion, “Your God reigns!” - But examine everything; hold firmly to that which is good, abstain from every form of evil.
- Two are better than one because they have a good return for their labor.
- The young lions do without and suffer hunger;
But they who seek the Lord will not lack any good thing. - For,
“The one who desires life, to love and see good days,
Must keep his tongue from evil and his lips from speaking deceit.
He must turn away from evil and do good;
He must seek peace and pursue it.” - Indeed, there is not a righteous person on earth who always does good and does not ever sin.
- For He has satisfied the thirsty soul,
And He has filled the hungry soul with what is good. - Do not withhold good from those to whom it is due,
When it is in your power to do it. - For You, Lord, are good, and ready to forgive,
And abundant in mercy to all who call upon You. - Then the Lord God said, “It is not good for the man to be alone; I will make him a helper suitable for him.”
- A good name is to be more desired than great wealth;
Favor is better than silver and gold. - Seek good and not evil, so that you may live;
And so may the Lord God of armies be with you,
Just as you have said! - Teach me to do Your will,
For You are my God;
Let Your good Spirit lead me on level ground. - Anxiety in a person’s heart weighs it down,
But a good word makes it glad. - How much more valuable then is a person than a sheep! So then, it is lawful to do good on the Sabbath.

And He teaches the humble His way.
