- I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd gives His life for the sheep.
- The Lord is my shepherd;
I shall not want.
He makes me to lie down in green pastures;
He leads me beside the still waters. - Now may the God of peace who brought up our Lord Jesus from the dead, that great Shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the everlasting covenant, make you complete in every good work to do His will, working in you what is well pleasing in His sight, through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory forever and ever. Amen.

For His mercy endures forever. - Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, to which you were also called and have confessed the good confession in the presence of many witnesses.

Equity and every good path. - A merry heart does good, like medicine,
But a broken spirit dries the bones. - Test all things; hold fast what is good. Abstain from every form of evil.

Who brings glad tidings of good things,
Who proclaims salvation,
Who says to Zion,
“Your God reigns!” - Two are better than one,
Because they have a good reward for their labor. - The young lions lack and suffer hunger;
But those who seek the Lord shall not lack any good thing. - For
“He who would love life
And see good days,
Let him refrain his tongue from evil,
And his lips from speaking deceit.
Let him turn away from evil and do good;
Let him seek peace and pursue it.” - For You, Lord, are good, and ready to forgive,
And abundant in mercy to all those who call upon You. - Do not withhold good from those to whom it is due,
When it is in the power of your hand to do so. - And the Lord God said, “It is not good that man should be alone; I will make him a helper comparable to him.”
- Seek good and not evil,
That you may live;
So the Lord God of hosts will be with you,
As you have spoken. - A good name is to be chosen rather than great riches,
Loving favor rather than silver and gold. - Of how much more value then is a man than a sheep? Therefore it is lawful to do good on the Sabbath.
- Anxiety in the heart of man causes depression,
But a good word makes it glad. - Teach me to do Your will,
For You are my God;
Your Spirit is good.
Lead me in the land of uprightness. - Then the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid, for behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy which will be to all people.”

- And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.
- Being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ.
- See that no one renders evil for evil to anyone, but always pursue what is good both for yourselves and for all.
- He who gets wisdom loves his own soul;
He who keeps understanding will find good. - But as for you, you meant evil against me; but God meant it for good, in order to bring it about as it is this day, to save many people alive.
- For He satisfies the longing soul,
And fills the hungry soul with goodness. - Learn to do good;
Seek justice,
Rebuke the oppressor;
Defend the fatherless,
Plead for the widow. - Let no one seek his own, but each one the other’s well-being.
- Do not fear, little flock, for it is your Father’s good pleasure to give you the kingdom.
