- With all my heart I have sought You;
Do not let me wander from Your commandments. - And I will walk at liberty,
For I seek Your precepts. - But I will sacrifice to You
With a voice of thanksgiving.
That which I have vowed I will pay.
Salvation is from the Lord. - This is the message we have heard from Him and announce to you, that God is Light, and in Him there is no darkness at all.
- And I have made Your name known to them, and will make it known, so that the love with which You loved Me may be in them, and I in them.
- If you keep My commandments, you will remain in My love; just as I have kept My Father’s commandments and remain in His love.
- Let love of the brothers and sisters continue. Do not neglect hospitality to strangers, for by this some have entertained angels without knowing it.
- Establish my footsteps in Your word,
And do not let any wrongdoing have power over me. - Sober up morally and stop sinning, for some have no knowledge of God. I say this to your shame.
- Then Jesus again spoke to them, saying, “I am the Light of the world; the one who follows Me will not walk in the darkness, but will have the Light of life.”
- Lord, You have searched me and known me.
You know when I sit down and when I get up;
You understand my thought from far away. - So if I, the Lord and the Teacher, washed your feet, you also ought to wash one another’s feet.
- For we have become partakers of Christ if we keep the beginning of our commitment firm until the end.
- For so the Lord has commanded us,
‘I have appointed You as a light to the Gentiles,
That You may bring salvation to the end of the earth.’ - Deep calls to deep at the sound of Your waterfalls;
All Your breakers and Your waves have passed over me. - For we do not have a high priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but One who has been tempted in all things just as we are, yet without sin.
- For this reason You are great, Lord God; for there is no one like You, and there is no God except You, according to all that we have heard with our ears.
- While they were serving the Lord and fasting, the Holy Spirit said, “Set Barnabas and Saul apart for Me for the work to which I have called them.”
- For God so loved the world, that He gave His only Son, so that everyone who believes in Him will not perish, but have eternal life.
- And those who know Your name will put their trust in You,
For You, Lord, have not abandoned those who seek You. - For we have brought nothing into the world, so we cannot take anything out of it, either. If we have food and covering, with these we shall be content.
- Make sure that your character is free from the love of money, being content with what you have; for He Himself has said, “I will never desert you, nor will I ever abandon you,”
