| My son, despise not the chastening of the Lord; neither be weary of his correction: For whom the Lord loveth he correcteth; even as a father the son in whom he delighteth. | My son, do not ignore the Lord’s discipline or refuse to accept his rebuke. | The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord: and he delighteth in his way. | The Lord makes a man’s steps secure when he approves of his conduct. |
