- Take heed to follow the commandments and the laws that Moses, the servant of the Lord, gave you: to love the Lord, your God, and to walk in his ways and to observe his commandments, holding fast to him and serving him with all your heart and all your soul.

When you are shown where the good way lies,
walk along it and your souls will find rest.
However, they said, “We will not take it.” - Surely God is my helper;
the Lord is the one who sustains me. - You who abide in the shelter of the Most High,
who rest in the shadow of the Almighty,
say to the Lord, “You are my refuge and my fortress,
my God in whom I place my trust.” - He builds his upper chambers in the heavens
and establishes his vault of the sky over the earth—
the Lord is his name. - For the Lord loves the just,
and he will not forsake his faithful ones.
Those who follow evil paths will be destroyed,
and the children of the wicked will be cut off. - For whoever finds me finds life
and receives favor from the Lord. - The way of God is blameless,
and the Lord’s promise proves true;
he is a shield to all
who flee to him for safety. - The way of God is blameless;

He is a shield to all
who take refuge in him. - Do not be lacking in zeal, but serve the Lord with spiritual fervor.
- Let your kindness be known to everyone. The Lord is near.
- Preferable is the little that the righteous possess
than the great wealth of the wicked.
For the power of the wicked will be overcome,
but the Lord protects the righteous. - I am the Lord, your God,
who brought you out of the land of Egypt.
You know no God but me,
nor any savior other than me.
