Chinese (traditional)- With all lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering, forbearing one another in love.
- Finally, brethren, farewell. Be perfect, be of good comfort, be of one mind, live in peace; and the God of love and peace shall be with you.
- Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him.
- For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.
- So ought men to love their wives as their own bodies. He that loveth his wife loveth himself.
- And to love him with all the heart, and with all the understanding, and with all the soul, and with all the strength, and to love his neighbour as himself, is more than all whole burnt offerings and sacrifices.
- Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up, Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil.
- And the Lord direct your hearts into the love of God, and into the patient waiting for Christ.
- But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ.
- Turn you at my reproof:
behold, I will pour out my spirit unto you,
I will make known my words unto you. - Death and life are in the power of the tongue:
and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof. - Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you.
- And I say unto you, Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you.
- Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.
- But thou, O man of God, flee these things; and follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, meekness.
- Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins.
- Finally, be ye all of one mind, having compassion one of another, love as brethren, be pitiful, be courteous.
- And lo a voice from heaven, saying, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.
- Hereby perceive we the love of God, because he laid down his life for us: and we ought to lay down our lives for the brethren.
- He that covereth a transgression seeketh love;
but he that repeateth a matter separateth very friends. - And above all these things put on charity, which is the bond of perfectness.
- And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.
- For in Jesus Christ neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision; but faith which worketh by love.
- Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.
- And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment.
And walk in love, as Christ also hath loved us, and hath given himself for us an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweetsmelling savour.Again, I considered all travail, and every right work, that for this a man is envied of his neighbour. This is also vanity and vexation of spirit. Rejoice evermore. Pray without ceasing. In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.Next verse!With image
